 The cut-off values used for the Abbott Alinity Troponin I assay are based on 99th percentiles and are as below:

  • Male <34 ng/L
  • Female <16 ng/L
  • Turnaround Time: 1 hour (urgent pathway)

Anti-thyroglobulin antibodies

Reference Range

Thyroglobulin antibody cut-offs taken from the Abbott Alinity Kit insert:

  • ≥4.11 IU/L are deemed positive
  • <4.11 IU/L are deemed negative
  • Turnaround Time: 2 days

Females: 8-33 IU/L

Higher levels can be seen in neonates, smokers and in women taking oral contraceptives.
