Please note samples should be delivered to Specimen Reception at the earliest opportunity, and then given directly to a senior member of staff in Haematology.
Please contact the laboratory prior to collecting samples to allow sufficient time to arrange transport.
Please send 10-15ml EDTA whole blood plus 10ml serum for both patient and control.
Samples >24 hours old cannot be analysed.
