Haematology and Transfusion Department

The Haematology Laboratory provides a 24 hour service for routine and urgent testing. It provides full blood counts and blood films to assist in the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of various conditions/disorders. The laboratory also provides additional tests to identify specific conditions e.g glandular fever screening, sickle screening and malaria screening
